Curtain Call A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance Harem of Freaks Book 6 edition by Crystal Ash Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

  • No spoilers here. Mel, Connor, Raz, Hunter, and Arjun face some challenging obstacles in this last book. What I loved most about Curtain Call is how you so clearly see the character growth of each one. I loved this series and I’m sad to see it end, but man this was a great final chapter! If you’ve read the other books, definitely read this last book. If you’re reading reviews of the last book to see if you should even start the series, do yourself a favor and jump on in because the Harem of Freaks series was 110% worth it!
  • WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! There are no words to describe how amazing this book/series is. All of Crystals books have sucked me in and I have fallen in love with everyone of her series. She makes you feel a connection to every character . The world building is amazing . You feel as if you are there. I can't get enough and will be rereading this series again. Thank you Crystal for another amazing book!!!!
  • I started this series on night when I couldn't sleep. I expected a light, quick read that I wouldnt get to invested in. So wrong. I immediately fell in love with Mel and Connor. I was so hooked on this series. Mel is easy to love and each one of the guys in absolutely drool worthy. I highly recommend this series and I definitely intend to check out more of this author's works.
  • This was another great book in the Harem of Freaks series. I really love the ending to this series. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves paranormal romance.
  • This series gripped me like no others. Unique written, beautiful story, you just have to fall in love with the characters. I must admit I devoured this series in 2 days. This is the first set I’ve read from the author, but will definitely be reading more.
  • What can I say about this series? I didn't think that Crystal could write another series that I'd love as much as the Unholy Trinity but she has proved me wrong. Whereas the Unholy Trinity is about a witch and her demons, this is about a girl and the men that she bewitches, just by being herself.
Mel is beginning to master her unusual abilities, with the help of Arjun, and her progress is about to be severely tested by Raz and Arjun's discovery at the end of Tightrope. The story arc running through each of the previous books comes to a tension-filled climax as Mel leads her men into a very dangerous situation. With her beloved shifters by her side, she battles a fearsome adversary with far more power and experience than her, while her men have their own troubles that test them.
Mel is a strong, brave, feisty, loyal heroine. She loves her siblings and adores her men (and Hunter's pups) and they all love her in return. There is nothing she won't do for people she loves, and people who need her help, and this makes her a very sympathetic character and one that is very easy to love.
The friendship and camaraderie between the men is beautifully written and is an aspect of the series that I found particularly rewarding. Each man has a distinct voice, personality and attitude but they complement each other so well. Although Connor, Hunter and Raz have only known each other for a short time, their words and actions are those of long-time friends, or even brothers. Arjun is readily accepted into the bromance and he fits in very well. The affection and the teasing and the support between them is an integral part of the story, for me, and a standout feature of Crystal's books.
Despite all the action, we are still treated to some very hot, steamy scenes, which were just as good as in the other books, and the love and emotion between Mel and all four men was incredible. I am especially in love with Hunter and Raz, who as so gorgeous together, bless their alpha hearts.
I could not stop reading. This book just would not let me go until I reached the final page, absolutely wrung out. But then again, all Crystal's books have done that to me. Her writing pulls you in to strange worlds that are actually our own world with a twist. I am sad that the series has ended but the ending was just perfect so I suppose I'll have to forgive Crystal for depriving me of the characters that I have come to love so much. If it's not too much to ask, Crystal, there must be other circuses out there that need Mel's attention and it would be a shame to let her ringmistress abilities go the waste, so perhaps we'll see them again. If not, I know that whoever Crystal introduces us to next will be just as wonderful, and I can't wait to meet them.
  • Crystal Ash did an amazing job with Curtain Call the last book of the Harem of Freaks series.

The world just turned upside down for Arjun when he realized that his stepfather is the one who has been capturing shifters and torturing them. Now Melody, Connor, Razvan, Hunter and Arjun must figure out how to take him down and rescue all the captured shifters.

I love how determine Melody is even when the odds are set against her, her interaction to Arjun and the chemistry between them is so hot! I had a lot of laughs watching her and Arjun. What a prick he can definitely be! Melody is one tough gal, doing everything she can do to learn her shaman powers knowing it might not be enough. The interaction of the men, the storyline and what you get? An amazing finale! I absolutely love reading the Harem of Freaks series, there's plenty of twist and intrigue and of course quite a bit surprise too. A definite must read! I can't wait to see what else Crystal brings!
